One of the things that thrills me as a photographer is portrait work. There’s such a big difference between going to the mall to have your picture taken and having your portrait taken. To properly take a portrait is not just to capture someones likeness, but to capture who they truly are. That’s why I was so excited to take Cam’s senior portraits.
We spent some time at Moore State Park in Paxton, MA, which isn’t too far at all from where I live in Leicester. Cam’s a lacrosse-star senior at Wachusett Regional High School, so we definitely had to incorporate that into the shoot. While he was very modest, his mom was quick to tell me how kind and caring he is, which I think definitely came through in these pictures.
