One day, about a year and a half ago, Michele and I took a wrong turn and ended up driving through the campus at WPI. We had seen the college from some of the more heavily traveled streets in Worcester, but what we saw on this day amazed us. The old buildings, the amazing architecture, it was just what we were looking for in a new location to shoot.
We first had the chance to shoot at WPI when our good friends, Angela & Robbie, became engaged. We loved shooting there and wanted to do a winter session on the campus grounds. Finally we had the opportunity when Susan and Stephen contacted us about doing a snowy engagement shoot. When we arrived, the snow had just started, and I SWEAR it was the most photogenic snow I have ever seen. If I wasn’t there myself, I would have thought that this was some kind of fake prop snow.
Susan and Stephen were amazing to work with. The temperature on that day was well below freezing, but they, in their newly-engaged-euphoria, couldn’t care less. As I look through these pictures, I can’t help but get ridiculously happy seeing how ridiculously happy they are.
